Pocketmail's are great for journaling or staying in touch when you're  hiking 
or on the road.   Especially useful for posting to the list and  more and 
more blogs and websites allow direct postings.  Yogi's is on like  it's 5th 
hike! 
 Mags is using it this year.  Unfortunately,  mine  (Sharp TM-20) only lasted 
a year before part of the screen got impossible to  read.  
 
Speaking of techno-gadets, I just  got a cellphone.  I  know... never did 
like them and hate the way they're used often, but since  I'm moving soon and 
hiking next year, it seemed the best way to stay in  touch.  Anyone with 
Verizon?
