I am leaving tonight after work for the SNP myself. My friend just emailed me saying they are calling for heavy rain for Friday. I am hoping the forecast for Sat, Sun and Mon improves. I know we have changed our route because of the rain.

floods when ever it rains 1-2". Tornado warning on Friday too. not to 
mention the wicked thunderstorms today with a tornado touch down not far 
from my place. Just cross my fingers that I will still have a place to come 
back to. I'd much rather deal with 6 feet of snow overnight than have to 
worry about the rain.
