 Thanks for the message to Ernesto; it worked just fine in Central Florida.  We've had lots more wind in some of the daily thunderstorms.  It did rain a good bit yesterday, but it's been a rare dry-ish summer in central Florida.  It was bright and sunny again this morning.
 
Best thing:  I got the day off work because the prediction was for a windier storm that actually arrived.  Worst thing:  I didn't hike because I kept thinking the wind would get worse.

I have 5 days off of work!! yeah! stickin' it to work right on! Going hiking 
in SNP, and the forcast is calling for Rain, followed by heavy rain, then 
rain and maybe some sun, then just when you think its going to get good. 
MORE RAIN!! uuhh Ernesto just go away. Then while I'm in SNP Ernesto is 
going to head straight for my apartment. damn it. oh well good thing I live 
on a hill on the second floor. Flash Flood warning Thursday(today) afternoon 
to Friday evening, going to get 4-8" of rain. Lovely. the river in town 
floods when ever it rains 1-2". Tornado warning on Friday too. not to 
mention the wicked thunderstorms today with a tornado touch down not far 
from my place. Just cross my fingers that I will still have a place to come 
back to. I'd much rather deal with 6 feet of snow overnight than have to 
worry about the rain.
