I used it on my 7 day ride on the Blue Ridge Parkway last fall and LOVED 
it. I still hadn't figured out fuel amounts (how much fuel I needed for 
this or that) so need to add or burn off at times. Had I done a better 
job, it would have been perfect. I DID use a Trangia (similar design and 
idea) on my thru hike and loved it as well. Toward the end...with temps 
regularly in the teens and sometimes in single digits, it still 
worked...but, not as efficiently. As Coosa said, it helped to warm the 
alcohol up some way...inside a jacker or sleeping bag.
