I don't care how the man hikes.  I hope he don't hike the way I did this year.  I oviously didn't do it right.  But you know what.  The only advice I will be giving on thru hiking is "don't fall".  That's all I am qualified to comment on because that is about all I did. Telling me the government should force me into therapy for something they know nothing about, is wrong.
