Ok,
  There is a man on this email list, I believe his name is Richard Mann. He has offered to help hikers with mail drops. I am just emailing to ask if anyone knows him. I am 99.9 percent sure I can trust him, but I was just wondering what other people though of him. From what I know, he has a good reputation in the AT hiking community. The reason I am sending this email out is because I am pretty sure I would use him and I do not want to send 2,000 dollars to someone I do notreally know just to be ripped off. The last thing I want to happen is to have to get off the trail because someone is looking to make a quick buck.

  PS: Sorry if this email seems rude to anyone. I have spent 15 minutes trying to word it in the most respectful way possible, but it stil sounds a little rude. Sorry to Richard if he finds this offensive too. ANyone can feel free to email me and state that this email was rude, it would be greatly welcomed.
