I have some recollection that it might agravate hypertension.
Like Mara said,  You get what you pay for with free advice.
Research would likely turn up the answer.
It helped an old horse of mine, and I used it protectively on all my longest hikes.

their doctor about and in the really fast talking at the end of all these 
commercials was the admonition not to take it if taking glucosamine.

affect absorption of the phamaceuticals and keep them from working properly.
