I suggest asking for cupcakes and frosting instead of sheet cakes. You  
tightly form the cupcakes into whatever design you want on a tabletop and then  
spread the frosting over the whole bunch of cup cakes. You end up not needing  
knives or plates or napkins, and with people all getting a yummy hand held  
snack!
