### Hugely true. Conditioning, expectations, and
pacing -- MAN that what it's all about. The resources,
the plan, the execution. Miss any of them (miss some
gorp at a too short rest stop) and watch all three go
to hell. It's easy for me with the boys, because they
have so little on-board supply(s), and without a
regimented rest-stop plan, they'd quickly fall apart.
We make great time because we *always* rest/resupply.
10 minutes every hour. (Unless, of course, a swimming
hole or milkshake await. HA! Then it's "Daaaaadddd!
C'mon! Let's *go*!!")
