[at-l] Copying VHS to DVD?

Just wondering if anyone on the list can/would be able to copy some  VHS 
hiking videos to DVD's? I have a few that I'd like to change over  to DVD's so I 
can watch them easier on a laptop while walking on the treadmill.  Of course 
I'll supply the blank DVD's and pay for mailing each way, and for all  this you 
can make yourself a copy also. And please, lets skip all the copy  writing 
chatter if we could, I know its probably illegal! I'll say an extra  pray for 
myself and anyone willing to risk life, limb or jail to help  me out!!!
 
BTW, if you do end up in jail, I promise I'll come visit, and  I'll even 
bring a couple cartons of cigs and some porno mags along to make your  stay there 
a little easier!!
