...but, some sound advice (recycled, of course)

With summer in full force, at least here in Indiana, I
thought I'd pass along a few of my 'weather tips':

I always carry a sweater and a few firestarters in my truck.
You never know when the temperature may drop from 95º to
88º. Drastic changes like that cause the body to chill too
quickly and consciousness can easily drift into
unconsciousness. (They're right next to each other, ya
know?)

Hot Coffee in a thermos. I drink lots of hot coffee. The
closer the body temperature is to the outside temperature,
the better the body feels. (This is also true of keeping
somebody else's body, and it's temperature, next to yours.)

NO Sunscreen. This inhibits the body's natural cooling
process of sweating. Once the skin becomes a certain shade
of red, it reflects more rays than it absorbs. And, you
doesn't have to call them Johnson.

No food. The digestive procedure increases your body
temperature. This means you have to either drink more,
hotter coffee OR sweat/cool more. Don't make you have to
make that decision.

Lots and lots of raingear. I always wear non-breathable,
Morton-salt-girl-type raingear. It keeps the sweat closer to
my body. Therefore, it is able to cool the coffee-warmed
blood easier. You never know when one of those afternoon
thundershowers may cruise through. If you're still
conscious, you want to have raingear on...don't you?
