I was kinda fond of the one after coming down from Appalachia Gap in VER-mont.

Why? I was on sweet terra firma again, after a scary (to this newbie) descent. Paradise gained.

Only problem was, Clyde subsequently found us a ride with two sweet young things who turned out to be drunk. 
Paradise lost. 

As we were whipping down the mountain curves, the driver turned to her friend and said "I have no brakes, heee heee..." 

Getting out of the car at the HydeAway Inn was my second favorite road crossing ...
