This e-mail thing...and, this list thing...is an odd bag of granola at 
times.  I've 'met' lots and lots of people via e-mail and this list. 
And, I've met many of them in person, too.  There are two of them that I 
have never met in person, though. And, until yesterday, I didn't know 
that the two were related. Father and daughter. I also found out that 
the daughter passed away in January of 2006. Some of you will probably 
remember 'amberchime'. She didn't post often. And, generally didn't use 
many words when she did.  She was very matter-of-fact when she posted 
and didn't like a lot of chatter. Which makes me wonder why she and I 
got along so well   :-)   At any rate... It was interesting to find out 
that a man I've had several pleasant conversations with was the father 
of a woman I'd had many pleasant conversations with. I was greatly 
saddened to find out that there will be no more.
