When I talked with the woman at Amicalola SP Visitors Center, I told her that I was quite sure that there was a mistake, that his name is TinMan.  She suggested that it was a typo.  I hope that she was a little embarrassed when she found out that she had ignored a good correction and then dismissed him as simply a tin can.  Really!!!!  :-]

Actually, they managed to change George's name to "TinCan." I wasn't there
for his talk, but Winton gave an amazing lecture about shooz.

I didn't show up on purpose for the festival, I just happened to be hiking
in that area.
