[at-l] on trail, but OT re the AT I guess - good news re our lost scout!

I am glad that the boy was found in fairly good condition.  One thing  struck 
me -- when the rescuers called to him he did not respond.  That is  something 
I have heard about others who were lost or separated from their  groups.  Is 
this part of some lost boy syndrome?  It seems to me that  when voices were 
heard that the lost would shout out.
 
Anybody have any ideas about this?
