Timing of bus and when I had to be there required a night in a motel at Medway 
.  Total cost (bus, taxi, dinner and motel in Medway) in was more than had I 
done a taxi all the way.

What with current gas prices call around, look at your timing and pick the 
best combination for your situation.

FWIW -- I have found hitching out of Baxter, far easier than into the park.
