And what I want to know is whether this is the recipe on the Quaker Old Fashioned Oats box with the addition of walnuts.  With RDs assurance that they survive shipment, maybe there will be lots of them being delivered along the trails.  Is that where to find the recipe?

Knowing Rockdancer, what he REALLY wants is a good recipe for oatmeal raisin cookies with walnuts, which brings us back to Joan's original request.
