I have shared shelters with stoned hikers.  That part is not so bad.   
Hiking with them was scary.  They had no sense of danger whatsoever,  
and would scamper off to any high places they saw.  I'm not opposed  
to high places on principle, but I imagine being drunk and going up  
there and I worry.

When not scaring the pants off me with those sorts of antics, they  
were some of the friendliest hikers I met.  :)
