Many thnaks for all the nice thoughts. Though birthdays are not things I celebrate much any more. FWIW, I live on the the coast in Maine, 45 miles north of Portland and six miles south of US Route 1. I spent FRiday at a training session on some Phippsburg land trust lands for this year's Maine Conservation Corps crews; Saturday at an all day Maine Land Conservation Conference.

They tell me that in a month I'm likely to be elected President of the Maine Appalachian Trail Land Trust, which means you may be hearing more from me in the future!
