[at-l] Black fly report in VT?

If I can't get a ride to/from Trail Days (I'm in Portland, ME), I'm thinking 
about doing Vermont next week. 

Black flies are not a problem yet.  Snow at higher elevations is still a 
problem. High elevation trails on State Lands are still officially closed. The 
trail clubs recommend that hikers not hike on the Long Trail. (Mass to Canada.)
