[at-l] snowing in Virginia

Skylander:

Last Saturday I hiked Pulpit Rock and the Pinnacle on the AT near Hamburg PA
with the Philadelphia Trail Club.  We started at the Hamburg Reservoir
Parking lot in drizzle.  When we reached the Pulpit, flying snow  soon
plastered the windward side of trees and covered the laurel leaves, but no
ground accumulation even at the Pinnacle.  On the way down, drizzle again,
followed by clearing weather. Invigorating, good Fall colors.
