[at-l] Computer help???

Trying to dump my South Dakota pics to a DVD before something bad has a
chance to happen.
My Pictures will only accept a CD, which is dumb with 300 pics, and I
haven't found another way to dump to DVD.
I think the last time I did it I used HP Image Zone Plus, which wasn't
working right with XP and brilliant me deleted it.
Found HP Photosmart on-line which is Image Zones replacement, but as soon as
I try to open the help search it runs my CPU to 100% and stays there.
Any ideas on how to dump to a DVD will be appreciated....
