[at-l] Thru Hikers in the Whites

Met 3 hikers on Wednesday night: Melk, Persistent and Ronin. 

All are doing fine and realize they are near the end of the pack. They came out
of the woods at RT 302 Crawford Notch. Persistent was down to one shoulder strap
on her pack so we took the morning on Thursday to get repairs made at Ragged
Mountain in Intervale, did a little resupply, and they were on their way up to
Mt. Webster by lunchtime. Didn't see anyone else for the day on Thursday but at
least 4 more hikers were trying to get through the Presidentials while the nice
weather was holding on Thursday and Friday.

Btw, the days were very nice sunny in the 60's. Nightime temps were in the high
30's to low 40's.
