[at-l] new henry shires tyvek tent

Around 2000 or 2001, there was a hiker named Tyvek.  I remember seeing his set-up across the street from The Place at Trail Days.  He had made a tent and all his gear of Tyvek, and it was all white.  Pasty white.  Creative, though.  I wonder how he fared with it.  Anyone know?  Anyone remember him?  a'bear

While I like my Frogg-Togs, I don't think I would take a tyvek tent on an AT thru-hike - unless of course you're a shelter rat <g>
