Pilot and I are heading to Michigan this weekend. I'm taking her to my 
old stomping grounds and showing her where I was raised up, proper or 
otherwise.  We were going to visit with some friends of mine who were 
teachers of mine in high school (She taught English/Am. Lit., he 
Poli-Sci), but their son is getting married on the other side of the 
state.  So, we are staying at their house anyway!   Tonight, Tony's 
Steak Sandwiches. Tomorrow, tour of "The Felix Formative Years: A 
Hands-on Drive Through the Past that Formed the Present". (I've actually 
seen the tour. It's not that good) Sunday, NASCAR racing at Michigan 
International Speedway. (Turn 3...watch for us. We'll be the ones 
flashing our hairy chests)

Ten years ago today was our first 'zero'.  I bought Pat a strawberry 
shortcake ice cream bar. She smiled....
