Awesome!!!
Soon's we get settled in our winter digs after New Year's, I'm going to start my dehydrating in earnest. Hey, I've got a 5-tray round dryer, I should be able to put 8 cans in :-)

MacGyver, who better take Bean-o on the trail as well :-)

Subject: [at-l] Re-beans

Hi gang,
Beans are one of my favorite trail meals. They are cheap, light weight, quick to cook and hearty. Thanks for that web site. I check it out more thoroughly on the pc at home.
I mostly dry cans of lucks pinto s, cans of diced tomatoes and sliced fresh onions. Put those together add some chili powder, bring to a boil. Then put them in a pot cozy. 25 min later they are ready and still to hot to eat. I can dry 6 cans at a time in my $40 three tray round dryer.
