[at-l] doing AT without a partner

If you want to hike with some of the thru-hiker wave starting in the second
part of May I'd consider starting in southern Virginia. Three months will be
way more time than you need to get to NJ, and when you hit the sections
you've already covered you'll be in great shape and very comfortable on the
trail. Then hitch to Maine, and hike it in either direction, you'll love it!
