I was living in West Palm Beach at the time.  Air Force One had been there the previous week-end.  I went quail hunting for the week-end and came home on Sunday night and my wife told me Lee Harvey Oswall had been shot and killed.

  45 years ago I went to school as usual, 7th grade. Catholic school... when we got the news we all went next door to the church. School was out for the next several days and my parents got drunk and stayed that way while glued to the TV.

  Kennedy was shot on my grandparents' wedding anniversary. 9/11 happened on our daughter's 21st birthday. I got bad-luck relatives...

  Hmmm....isn't this sort of ironic?  Lincoln was watching a play. Kennedy 
  was near a school book depository.  Lincoln taught himself the second 
  grade. Kennedy taught himself to play.  Where'd you go to second grade, 
  Clide? Grassy Knoll Elementary?
