Absolutely. The definition of a pack animal is an animal used to carry
loads. I am an animal. When I go to the woods, even just for the day, I
carry a pack with food, clothing and essential supplies. That's a load. I
could use another animal to carry it but I use myself so I am my pack animal
when I "hoof it" through the woods.
