Felix, does the phrase, represented by the acronym TMI, mean anything to you? :)

I'm not sure anyone on this list has gobs of money. Seriously. Maybe
Felix does.

Yeah, I'm not sure why anyone would think that we have gobs of money. And, it's looking more and more like I won't have a lucrative NBA
contract again this year. So, I shall continue to be frugal...Or, as some call it, cheap.

Without knowing more about your budgeting, income, expenses (and, I'm not asking for any of that information, mind ya), etc., it's going to be hard to tell
you ways to make 'it' happen. Do you own your home? Have enough money 'saved' to pay non-hiking bills (electric, water, rent/mortgage, heating) while hiking?
Those expenses are generally more than what you'll be spending while hiking. You can actually get by fairly cheaply if you don't 'treat yourself' to things on the
hike. And, there are plenty of things that are cheap or free that you CAN treat yourself to.

You have to determine how badly you want to do a long-distance hike and then figure out ways to make that happen. I've sensed as much 'this is why I can't do this'
as I have 'this is how I'm going to do this'.

As for how I got my gobs of money...I live cheaply. I live in a tiny dump in the woods. I don't smoke. I don't drink. I rarely pay for sex. And, just as often get PAID for sex.
When I'm not playing quarterback for two NFL teams, I'm digging in the dirt, watching super-models while rock stars watch me.
