Hey Leslie....

I'm sorry I unloaded a bunch of pentup frustration on your shoulders simply because you posted another round of YouTube sites about the lad who wanted to walk the AT with his goat.  I just wish those videos would disentegrate, or I had a Star Trek phaser.

I believe the repeated posting of those sites perpetuates a very distorted view of the AT and try to make the ATC a "scapegoat", if you will, for someone's ill-advised venture.  The information about this remarkable and very unique National Park is certainly out there if the young man is willing to google a bit. Just because it is so accessable to users doesn't relieve them of responsible behavior.  

 My response to your posting was full of righteous anger, and I should have waited 24 hours to cool off before I "let it go."  Sorry, pal.
