I came past there on Friday and Saturday . . . . but was busy myself taking
care of a couple of thruhikers - I officiated at the wedding of Rainbow
Brite and Mountain Dew (AT 2006) on Saturday (rehearsal on Fri). Wedding
was at my summer chapel just west of Crawford Notch (near the Mt Washington
Hotel) and then the reception was around the mountain in Pinkham Notch -
outside under a tent. The sermon for the wedding used trail magic as the
basic image for their life in the future - in taking care of each other, and
together taking care of the world - although I also did reference PUDs and
traveling light.
