Thanks Earthworm for the info!! I'll look around tomorrow and see if I can locate the packet, I know it WAS here, or at least my memory seems to remember it was here. A while back Dee transfered all my VHS video's to DVD's for me(Thanks again Dee!!!), so I have a copy of it, and I have no problems giving the original to a good cause, and I'd say the AT Museum is a pretty good cause! Glad I have something they would want!

OR

I could throw it on e-bay and take the first $100,000.00 that someone offers! lol

I'll let ya know if I find the worksheets that goes with it!

I have a movie, VHS called, "A Walk On The Wild Side, Hiking the Appalachian
Trail, A Guide to Wilderness Adventure", It's 39 mins. long and in color. How
comes I can't find anything about this video on google?? Is it a rare one? I use
to have, maybe still do somewhere classroom teaching worksheets/packet that
came along with it, at extra cost of course! I'm pretty sure I bought this at the
ATC store back around 2000. Anyone else have this video/worksheets?
Earthworm, I didn't see it listed on your AT page and nothing at the ATC store
about it either!

It's not on BooksForHikers because it was meant for school kids and also
because it's not really 'available' for people to see. No telling how many
copies may still be around in classrooms, but only two libraries have
cataloged it in the main database for libraries, WorldCat. So I guess you
could say it's sort of rare.

The record for it in WorldCat reads:

Title: Hiking the Appalachian Trail-- a walk on the wild side!
Author(s): Baden, Edna and Lenthall, Nancy.
Publication: [Norfolk, VA.?] : Norfolk Public Schools in conjunction with WNPS TV-47
Year: 1998
Description: 1 videocassette (40 min.) : sd., col. ; 1/2 in.
Language: English
Abstract: Walk with four educators from Virginia as they hike the Appalachian Trail.

SUBJECT(S)
Hiking -- Appalachian Mountains.
Trails -- Appalachian Mountains. Appalachian Trail -- Description and travel.

System Info: VHS format.
Note(s): "Guide to wilderness adventure"--Container.
Audience: Intended audience: intermediate grades through high school.
Responsibility: produced by Edna Baden and Nancy Lenthall ; edited by Brian McIntyre.
Material Type: Videorecording (vid); Videocassette (vca); VHS tape (vhs)

This is an item that the Appalachian Trail Museum library would love to have
if you're ever willing to donate it. (And it would be great if you could find the
materials that came with it.) Let me know if you're ever ready to part with it.
