[at-l] Okay, now I have a regret

You can selectively quote yourself if you wish, Sloetoe. I would consider your "woodsy engagements" pontificating, not assailing.

On the otherhand, I don't see anything "woodsy" about this, but rather an attack on my hiking experience, skill and judgment:

"Okay, I'll say it -- I don't understand starting a hike unprepared, and then patting yourself on the back for the supposed wisdom of bailing. You shouldn't have been out there like that if you were truly unprepared, and if you *were* prepared, there are often great experience to be had by hanging out."

That could also be called second-guessing, making false assumptions and accusations, even ass-hattery.

But has been said before by others, there's no need to defend yourself on this list.

### Wow. If that's "assail" in your book, I wish you a 2010 just like your 2009. We all should be as lucky. For myself for 2010, I would hope I continue to post my less-than-perfect woodsy engagements as humor, and not as "wisdom."
