Well, actually it was more like four funny little things, or at least one funny little thing told four times.  And it appeared to be worth four little repsonses from Rockdancer, or at least one response told four times.
 
Did Ruth Ann have curls (not her real hair)?  Was there an inkwell involved?

Here's a funny little thing...I think.  I recently discovered something on
the
interweb highway called Facebook. I think I'm saying that right: 
Facebook.  There is a function there called 'Search'. So, I used it to
search
for old friends, acquaintances, etc. One such person for which I search was
Ruth
Ann Johnson (not her real name)  (I don't think). Ruth Ann was my first
'girlfriend'. And, by 'girlfriend' I mean 3rd grade 'I like
you. Do you like me?
Circle one: Yes No' girlfriend. After a painful break up (she was in to
fast
bikes and Hi-C), and a couple of out-of-state moves by my family, I lost
contact
with her. So, after my search turned up fruitless...as I wasn't searching
for
fruit...and Ruthless, I searched for Tina Johnson (also not her real name),
Ruth
Ann's twin sister (though, they didn't look much alike other than their
clothes
matched). Bingo (also not her real name)!  So, I sent Tina a 'message'
(as it's
called on 'Facebook'. ) telling her who I am and asking if she is the
Tina
Johnson (not her real name) who is the twin to Ruth Ann Johnson (not her real
name). I told her the part about Ruth Ann being my first 'girlfriend'
and said
that it's been 38 years and they probably wouldn't remember me, etc. 
So, I hear
back from Tina that she is, in fact, Ruth Ann's sister and that she
doesn't
remember me, but Ruth Ann thinks she does....and THAT SHE REMEMBERS MY
EYELASHES!!!!  Are you kiddin' me?!?

So, I've 'talked' with Tina a good deal lately. And, she remembers
that I had a
brown coat. We've been throwing names back and forth of people we went to
3rd
and 4th grade with...37 years ago!! And, I haven't seen (to my knowledge)
one of
them since then! 

So, anyway...after the chicken stopped moving, we all just sat there and looked
at it....
