That was our point exactly. This timing wasn't a coincidence. Despite that
we loved Miss J's place and her hospitality they town did get complaints and
cops did come out there for problems. They also did camp in the backyard.
Unfortunately she had a heart of gold and never said no no matter how full
up she was.
The town definitely acted on the opportunity to shut her down for good.
 They had no desire to grandfather her or they wouldn't have worded the
ordinance so strictly. Yes, it's true that many towns have such ordinances
for just that purpose - preventing hostels, and other such "horrible" things
from coming to town.

Miss J is kind and not trashing the town. Spin it any way they want. The
town did not see the big picture. They blocked us from staying in town at a
reasonable cost. Uncle Johnny's is fine and he's very helpful. Stayed there
too. But it's no where near as convenient as walking around downtown, come
and go at your leisure.

It's a shame after all the years.
