Maybe it's rune, not ruin?

A friend of mine had "Skye Boat Song" bagpiped at her wedding, and it
sounded right purty.
Since you're marrying a young 'un, "All Those Endearing Young Charms"
might be nice. You might know the tune--it's the same one they play at
the beginning of "Come On Eileen."
Here are the words from the first verse:
Believe me, if all those
Endearing young charms
Which I gaze on so fondly today
Were to change by tomorrow
And fleet in my arms,
Like fairy gifts fading away,
Thou would'st still be adored
As this moment thou art
Let thy loveliness fade as it will
Around the dear ruin
Each wish of my heart
Would entwine itself
Verdantly still.
Now isn't that sweet? I mean, not that Pilot would ever be a "dear
ruin," but the sentiment is nice. :)

Looks like I found myself a bagpiper. He wants me to come up with some
songs I think I'll want him to play for the wedding. ONE OF THEM WILL BE
AMAZING GRACE! You all have some other songs you like hearing on the
pipes that you think I'd like hearing? Hmmm?
