He probably just wanted a better empanada than he could find in SC, but
instead found a career made of toast :( perhaps the dining establishments
along the Trail should prepare for an influx of Argentinians (...eans?), now
that the secret's out: http://www.recipezarr.com/recipes/argentinean the
humble-lentil pastel sounds good...
