Talked recently with an AT thru hiker from several years ago.  He told me about meeting Meryl Streep at an AT shelter near Kent, CT.  Said he was talking a lunch break there when she walked in a with a couple of kids (grandchildren?) in tow.  Said she was quite pleasant and asked a couple of questions about his hike.





Same guy says he also met and spoke with James Earl Jones in a coffee shop (after seeing him at the library) in Kent.





Anybody else meet any celebs along the trail?
