the trail in Maryland.  It would be nice of they had one little cheapo 
room that hikers could rent... but they don't seem to have one now.  Maybe 
someone could talk them into it?? :-)  Their regular visitors might find 
it romantic to have an AT hiker in their midst...

I got a real shock last year when I happened to drive through B'boro one 
morning and found the street blocked off and the ruins of the 
under-reconstruction hotel still smouldering.  But they managed to get 
everything back on track and open it for business a couple of weeks ago.

WHen I was in the new Boonsboro library - no longer right there on the 
Main ST. but a half mile or more outside of town, I saw that Roberts had 
made a nice contribution for the new facility.
