(Thank God that doesn't say "Butt toothpicks")   Yes, toothpicks. To be 
used for barter. You can get a small chicken for a handful of 'square, 
tapered ended' toothpicks in some of those small Southwestern towns.

That might be enough water. You might also want some sort of vessel/jug 
in the event you'd have to carry some any distance at all. Or, something 
to use to bail water from your boat
