Hi -

I don't know if info about this has possibly already appeared on the list.
If so, apologies for the repetition.

Defenders is teaming up with the National Park Service on Saturday, May
16th to protect vital habitat for birds, red fox, black bears, and other
native wildlife on the Appalachian Trail near Front Royal, VA -- and we’d
love your help!

Space is limited, so please register now to join the Wildlife Volunteer
Corps and give back to nature in your neck of the woods!

Trumbo Hollow, where we'll be working, is an important stopover for
migratory songbirds and supports nesting birds that have been in long-term
decline -- like American woodcock, Eastern towhees and black-throated blue
warblers.

Please help us protect their beautiful forest home from invasive plants
and restore natural balance to Appalachian Trail ecosystems.

Full details at link above.
