LOL  I've left a few books behind me at shelters though it has been a while...almost 3 years now in fact.  I typically didn't want anyone to see me though as the comment earlier on the list that someone thought it was littering.  

What got me into it?  The first time I went to Miss Janet's in Erwin, TN several years ago I had finished reading a book and was thusly introduced to her book nook between the hiker's bathroom and bunkroom.  I was sitting there reading some of the backs of books when a guy that I never did catch the name of told me about finding books in shelters.  I haven't done it every time that I was out, but when I had read something especially good I try to get it out there.  

I haven't had much time to read over the past few years.... but life seems to be settling down and I hope to be able to get some good ones in that have been on my list for a while.
