Then consider what's likely to be your cooking style.  If you're a
boil water once or maybe twice a day for simple meals, I would
seriously consider alcohol.  You can make (or buy) a homemade
soda/beer/sports drink can stove and get to know it now.  They're
cheap (or free) so if you decide it's just not something you can work
with, then you can spend the bucks to buy a more expensive option.
