[at-l] Not completing a thru Hike

Hi all,

I finally found the quote.  Someone posted it to the list many years ago.  Many people 
disappear after they fail to complete their hike. Both Jim and Frank have given 
wonderful posting about not completing the trail however I like to hear the stories.

you have been opened by life's betrayals or have become shriveled and 
closed from fear of further pain! I want to know if you can sit with pain,
