Dear Lady,

You know that comment was tongue in cheek. Someone asked me why Vermont? Well there are many trails to hike and many streams to fish. However the same could be said for southwestern Virginia, and the mountains of Tennessee and North Carolina.

Cheers
Bob

It was verbal flowers I was tossing, not stones, my friend.
No stone-throwing! Mama always said... "You could put someone's eye out..."
;-)

As for slower posting, hey, men take alot of time!
;-)

Actually, I've gotten pretty involved in the community here. Right now me and a project partner are trying to get a local food and local produce co-op up and running right now.
We went before the county board of commissioners yesterday with our presentation, and they agreed to administrate our grant request. Hurray! One hurdle crossed, ten thousand more to go....

I know you are looking forward to your retirement! It's been fun watching Chase, Thee Clyde and eArThworm approach and surmount retirement.
Of course, now Clyde is back in the game somewhat.

The Long Trail is farther afield than I get these days with a garden, house and hub. And that's okay. All of NC and southern VA are within a four-hour drive. While that's not northern Vermont, it's still a mighty pretty place. I love my state! (And southern VA).

She who lives in a glass house should not throw stones. I notice that you seldom post anymore after your marriage. 59 days till retirement and I hope to be living in Vermont in less than a 120days. Come on up and join me on the long trail. I may not be as nice as thee Clyde, but at least I can peel my own grapes :)

... and how, once Felix got married, Grey Owl started posting more?
;-)

(Enjoying the postings, Sir Owl)
