[at-l] OT - yes, another computer question

Not my computer this time. The CD drive on my parents computer died. I'd
like to upgrade them to a DVD drive. I'm looking for suggestions for a low
cost, or even better free, DVD player-program. I'm assuming the computer
will also need drivers to support the drive as a data disk? Never done this
one before, any help appreciated!
