Right now, I'm leaning really heavily to startin the Foothills Trail
on Wednesday (2 weeks after surgery + day after NatGeo AT speshul). If
that works out, the plan is to have wife drop me at Amicalola Dec 30th
and walk North towards Soruck starting New Year's eve.

And if I ever utter the words "thru hike" again, someone please punch
me in the mouth or laugh at me or something.

Funny. Came here from Twitter. Was trying to figure out how to answer
you in 140 Characters or less.
