  Because of the ding-danged mess on I-40, I had to go through Hot
  Springs to get to Shelleye's. First time I ever went through there in
  a car. :-)

  Anyway, I stopped at Bluff Mtn Outfitters to say hello. They had
  something called "Slide Stopper." Look it up on the Googles. Light,
  looks strong, uses nylon webbing instead of rubber bands, and function
  like strap-on, 4-toothed crampons.

  I thought this was just too cool not to pass on. Now I can wear trail
  runners all Winter!
