A few years ago, one of the great advantages of Leki, for the long distant
hiker, was the availability and ease of repair. There were far more places
along the trail to get then serviced.
FWIIW, I destroyed a Leki pole when I took a fall /slide on Mt Cube, once.
The next stop got them replaced. No problems.

As a retailer that has sold Leki, Black Diamond, and Komperdell, I can
definitively and unequivocally tell you that the build quality of the leki
product is superior to the other two. I have not however, "sipped the
Kool-Aid" and believe that Leki's most expensive model is their best, actually
quite the opposite. Let me explain: Leki makes the "Super Makalu Core-Tec
Positive-Angle Anti-Shock" pole that retails for $140/pair. Hey, it's a nice
pole-set, but not their most durable and certainly not their best all-around.
They make a model called the "Summit Positive-Angle Core-Tec Anti-Shock" that
retails for only $100/pair and is (IMHO) a superior pole!
If you would like, give me a call and we'll discuss poles.
